The Room Company GmbH is committed to ensuring that eMove is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
Our goal is to make digital movement breaks usable, understandable, and inclusive for everyone.
1. Our Commitment:
We aim to meet or exceed the standards defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and align our design and development with Microsoft 365 accessibility principles. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and an integral part of our design philosophy.
2. Our Accessibility Approach:
Captioned and narrated videos: All eMove videos are produced with integrated captions and in-video text-to-speech guidance to support users with hearing or visual impairments.
Keyboard navigation: eMove can be fully operated using standard keyboard commands within Microsoft 365.
Simple visual design: High-contrast interface and clear typography ensure easy readability.
Accessible controls: The eMove interface includes large, high-contrast buttons (minimum 44×44 px) with visible focus indicators and screen-reader support, ensuring easy use for all users.
Screen-reader compatibility: eMove has been successfully tested with Windows Narrator in Microsoft Outlook, confirming that all visible text and interactive elements are accessible.
Assistive technology integration: eMove follows Microsoft 365 accessibility APIs and works with assistive technologies such as Windows Narrator and NVDA.Continuous improvement: Accessibility feedback is reviewed regularly and implemented in future releases.
